Together with its project partners, Talen is developing solar installations on land adjacent to operating and decommissioned power plants.

Each project will benefit from existing infrastructure to lower development costs and lessen environmental impact.

EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE

Each project will use land surrounding an active or decommissioned fossil plant to take advantage of existing infrastructure.

140 MW OF RENEWABLE GENERATION

The joint development projects will add a significant amount of new renewable generation to Pennsylvania, a state which has seen low solar penetration.

BROWNFIELD DEVELOPMENTS

Two of the solar projects will be built on coal ash basins, turning limited use land into land which produces renewable, solar power.
